Here is a great opportunity organised by Community Minded to put your gardening skills in action and for a great cause!
The Community Minded has put up their collective hands to help with a garden blitz at a women's shelter in Bentley, run by Starick Services. There are a variety of tasks from basic weeding to re-laying rubber floor tiles in a fenced off children's play area.
The morning schedule is being worked out by Quinten Hessels, who will supervise and allocate tasks, from 7.00am through to 1.00pm.
Please indicate if you are available by replying on their Facebook page.
The shelter's address is not for publication, but is quite close to the Bentley Plaza shopping Centre on Albany Highway, and on the city side of Leach Highway.
No experience necessary, but you will need to bring gardening gloves.
