As a holder of an Order of Australia (AM), Western Australian of the Year (2013/2014) and WA Australian of the Year (2014), Professor Robinson is a prolific cancer immunology researcher, medical practitioner, public speaker, parent, foreign aid worker and founder of the Fathering Project which has benefited over 50,000 Australian children.
Professor Robinson’s experience backed by research-based evidence shows how a strong father-figure can be a positive force on the development of children, directly affecting instances of substance abuse, crime, low self-esteem, poor attitude to school and loss of values. Professor Robinson has published the book ‘Fathering from the Fast Lane’ and 5 other titles.
Committed to inspiring fathers to be better dads, getting involved with their children and developing programs and initiatives to assist and promote engagement, Professor Robinson wants us to live a ‘Caramello life’ – one that not only looks sweet on the outside but which is also full and rich inside.
