Thank you for your support, we now have all the volunteers needed to run a wonderful 'Pamper Day' for Path of Hope!
As part of empowering women staying at the centre, Path of Hope is organising a 'Pamper day" 4 times per year. The aim is to help our women to feel good about themselves so they can go out into the community with pride and confidence.
During the pamper day volunteers help and teach how to create a 10 piece functional wardrobe, hair styles and make up lessons so our ladies can go to job interviews, school drop offs, etc looking and feeling good.
The next day pamper day is on the 7th of April 2017 and they still need the following
volunteers from 9am to noon:
- One volunteer to assist with morning tea and bake 2 cakes
- Two stylists/fashionistas who can assist with a small presentation on how to create a 10-piece wardrobe on a budget, what style suits what body shape etc. and general fashion updates
- Two hairdressers who can show the latest trends in hairstyles, how to create a new look without going through too much effort, what styles work best when going on an interview, basic techniques on how to look 'sophisticated-on-a-budget'
- Two beauticians/nail technicians who can assist with manicures/nail polish
It will be an amazing day, with lots of fun and will bring empowerment and change to ladies staying at the Path of Hope centre!
