Elizabeth Shaw at Rotary of Elizabeth Quay
This February we are delighted to welcome Elizabeth Shaw to bring us on her journey working on equality and supporting those who don't have a voice to speak up.
Recognised by the Australian Financial Review and Westpac as one of Australia’s 100 Most Influential Women, Beth Shaw holds a number of roles in the corporate and non-profit sectors that enable her to drive meaningful change.
Beth is an Associate Director at KPMG, advising organisations on people, change, culture, diversity and inclusion. She has worked across a number of industries to advance gender equality, including police, sport, government, retail and resources and led pro-bono work for the Male Champions of Change and the Australian Institute of Company Director’s 30% Club.
Beth is the Deputy Chair of Inclusion WA and has just stepped down from her role as the President of UN Women Australia, the national committee representing the United Nation’s gender equality agency – the youngest woman ever to hold this role and the first West Australian.
Beth has published widely on diversity issues, including in The Australian, the Australian Financial Review and The Sydney Morning Herald and presented on diversity and inclusion topics around Australia and at the UN Commission on the Status of Women in New York.
With Beth's long list of achievements and no shortage of community involvement, there is no-one better placed to inspire us to be the leaders of tomorrow. Don't miss your chance to hear from Beth at Rotary of Elizabeth Quay.
Door registrations will not be available and tickets will be limited to ensure an up-close, personal event with Beth.
