Darling Range Wildlife Shelter is a volunteer, not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is to rehabilitate native wildlife and promote the value of biodiversity.
Please join us to support this worthy charity organisation. We will digging in and rolling up sleeves to attach/repair shade cloth to fencing; clear fallen branches; and help with some painting of habitat boxes for the wildlife.
Things to know:
We're looking for up to ~20 volunteers! (There is a waitlist ticket option if 10 spots filled)
Minimum age is 15 years, but must have a parent/guardian attending. Over 16s are no problem.
Clothing requirements: Absolutely no shorts or open shoes.
Enclosed shoes/boots with socks, bring a hat and a pair of gloves.
Tools and all equipment will be provided.
Lite morning tea available and we will plan for some lunch. Tea/coffee/water available, cans of soft drink $1.50.
Based in the Perth CBD, Rotary Elizabeth Quay (REQ) aims to connect young leaders in our community who are passionate about making a difference. Our members join REQ because they have a real desire to make a difference and are looking for a way to give back to the community.
