The Rotary Club of Quarirading have invited Rotarians from all around to attend their annual Tree Planting Bonanza! It’s a massive service opportunity which is truly fulfilling. To participate make sure to register your interest via the link. We will try to facilitate car pooling where possible. Volunteers need to drive there early in the morning on Saturday 30 July (see schedule below).
Please note that it is a 2hr drive from Perth CBD
BYO waterbottle, snacks, gumboots, raincoat and gardening gloves.
The plan for Saturday:
Rendezvous around 8.30am - 9am at the Quairading Shire Building carpark then travel to the tree planting site for a coffee and tree planting demonstration.
Morning tea will be around 10.30 - 11am followed with a hearty x3 soup and BBQ lunch onsite
After lunch we march on to finish the tree planting by late afternoon.
A social dinner is being planned for the evening at the local Rotary Club of Quarirading starting around 6pm.
Please select the relevant ticket so we can organise carpools to reduce carbon footprint. Registrations close 12pm Friday 30 July 2021.
