Vinnies Helping Hands!

We’re excited to be sharing a quintessential REQ give-back experience with you.

To help our friends at Vinnies (who we’ve supported over a number of years in Vinnies stores and with mammoth house painting efforts) we have been invited to help them at the heart of their charitable operations – the distribution centre which is the life-blood of raising funds to help those most in need.

Once we’ve reached our people limit we will unfortunately not be able to accept further participants.

Location: Vinnies Distribution Centre (DC) – 9 Brewer Rd, Canning Vale

What to wear/bring: comfortable clothes/shoes. Bring water and lunch.

SCHEDULE
Arrival and sign-in 9:15am – 9:30am
Orientation and induction 9:30am – 9.45am
DC Tour 9:45am – 10:15am
Volunteering work 10.15am – 2.30 pm (Lunch ~12.15 for 30mins)

THE ACTIVITY
Volunteering activities will include: predominantly taking action to bulk sorting and packing of clothes received so that they can be distributed to the Vinnies shop network.
